2025 Hyundai Tucson Redesign: What to Expect from the Updated Compact SUV – The Hyundai Tucson is one of the most popular small SUVs on the market because it looks good, has a roomy cabin, and comes with fuel-efficient engine choices. But this market has a lot of competition, so Hyundai isn’t sitting back and taking it easy. The Korean car has shown off the 2025 Hyundai Tucson for the European market. This gives us a sneak peek at what the US version will be like when it comes out later.
What’s New for 2025 ?
The 2025 Hyundai Tucson is a familiar model. Instead, it is a mid-cycle update to the fourth-generation Tucson that came out in 2020. The changes are significant enough to make it feel like a model from the next generation, especially inside.
Design: Exterior and Interior
The 2025 Tucson still has the unique “jewel” grille that holds the headlights and daytime running lights but has a smoother look. The SUV looks more extensive and challenging because the bumpers and skid plates have been stretched. Some new headlights and wheels have logos that look like they are three-dimensional.
The 2025 Tucson shines on the inside, with a remade dashboard that looks futuristic and classy. As you look at the dashboard, you’ll see a single unit with two 12.3-inch screens. These are for the instrument panel and the entertainment system. The turning wheel is now a different shape and has a “H” in Morse code. A wireless charging pad, two big cup holders, and a row of buttons have been added to the center panel. The gear switch has been moved to a stick on the steering column. This makes more room behind the driver.
The best thing about the new interior is that the climate and music settings no longer use touch-sensitive screens, which were annoying. Instead, they have physical buttons. There are also small screens built into the buttons that show useful information. Thinner air vents are hidden behind a nice-looking piece that runs along the dash.
Powertrain
Hyundai hasn’t said what powertrains will be available in the US version of the 2025 Tucson yet, but they’ll be the same as the ones currently available. The engine will be a standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 187 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque.
It will come with either front or all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic engine. You can also get a hybrid or a plug-in hybrid. It has a 1.6-liter four-cylinder supercharged engine and an electric motor for 226 horsepower.
Release Date and Price
In early 2022, the 2025 Hyundai Tucson will go on sale in Europe. We are still determining when it will come to the US market. It will come out later in 2022 as a car for the 2025 model year. The price hasn’t been announced either, but the base model will cost around $29,000, the hybrid $34,000, and the plug-in mixed $40,000.
The 2025 Hyundai Tucson makeover makes one of the best small SUVs on the market even better. It has a more polished look outside, a beautiful interior with better technology and ergonomics, and choices for fuel-efficient powertrains. When the 2025 Tucson comes to your local Hyundai store, you should keep an eye on it if you want a stylish, roomy, and reliable SUV.
